Serialized Drug Packaging

Audit-proof manual aggregation

  • Together with MEDTRACKER software, the new MEDILINE CodeCollectM constitutes an audit-proof solution for manual aggregation of serialized drug packages.
  • Well-conceived ergonomic design facilitates especially efficient, fatigue-free working.
  • Perfect integration and mobility thanks to compact design and lockable casters.

For the reliable aggregation of individually serialized drug packages into larger units, a dependable aggregation workstation is essential. The new MEDILINE CodeCollectM is Atlantic Zeiser’s solution for manual aggregation from individual packages to cases and pallets. Its fully MEDTRACKER compatible interface ensures audit-proof forwarding and storage as well as plausibility checks with data from upstream coding processes.
The complexity of managed data relationships is more or less unlimited. Therefore MEDILINE CodeCollectM is also ideally equipped for manual reworks of cases and pallets after disturbances on automatic lines, and also for workflows performed in the shipping warehouse.

In view of the long-term physical demands of manual aggregation, Atlantic Zeiser applied rigorous design criteria for MEDILINE CodeCollectM in order to satisfy the strictest ergonomic requirements and facilitate efficient, fatigue-free operation. The electrically height-adjustable, tilting workbench, for instance, allows cases to be loaded with single items without exerting any strain on the worker’s back, and prevents tilting over of small packages. The intuitive user interface on the large touch screen practically rules out aggregation errors.

Full specification

Throughout the design process, consideration was given to the most recent GAMP guidelines. In view of its compactness, MEDILINE CodeCollectM can easily be incorporated in existing production processes. Thanks to integrated casters, the manual station can quickly be relocated for use at other packaging lines. MEDILINE CodeCollectM is a full-spec solution comprising a code scanning camera for cases with up to three layers of single items, two wireless hand-held scanners with long-life lithium-ion batteries, as well as two maintenance-free, high-speed label printers for case and pallet labels. For case transport and use as a buffer en route to the pallet, a height-adjustable, extendible roller conveyor is available as an option.
